Day 1
Day 2
In this session, participants review core treaties in international law that play a fundamental role in conflict mediation.
In this session, participants apply International Humanitarian Law and Human Rights Law principles to a hypothetical scenario.
In this session, participants engage in a negotiation simulation exploring how climate change acts as a driver of conflict and displacement, using a simulation based on Burkina Faso.
Day 3
In this session, participants conduct an interactive simulation exercise and discussion on negotiating and drafting a ceasefire agreement.
In this session, participants will engage in practical conflict analysis exercises relating to a resource conflict in the Democratic Republic of Congo.
In this session, participants will engage in a negotiation simulation, addressing questions related to accountability processes for perpetrators of atrocity crimes and gross human rights violations committed during South Sudan’s civil war .
